Default b16a vs. b17a1

I have a 91 DA and am planning to upgrade to a new motor pretty soon. What do u think would be the best idea including performance and price. Thanx

B17's are quite rare. It's much less time consuming to find a B16 in good working order.

some guy was selling a b17 with no tranny on Ebay for $1400 i think it was.. suppose to have only 64,000 miles..but never answered my emails if he could prove that.

First gen B16 longblocks go for just under $600.
