Eagle Rods w/OEM pistons????
I posted a thread in the all motor forum also......Basically I'm trying to find out if ITR pistons will work with Eagle rods....I came across a thread that said CTR pistons won't work....So I 'm wondering if ITR's will work....

Yes it will work. But you have to Modify your CTR , ITR pistons. You have to add grooves on the piston in the Wrist Pin hole for the Clips. And they will work. A machine shop can do it or Contact JE pistons they do it as well.

Most forged rods are designed to use clips to hold the wrist pins (which most aftermarket forged pistons are designed for) whereas the factory cast piston is designed for a press fit type wrist pin fit.
