Default adjustable secondaries on sms header?

when you extend the length of the adjustable secondaries on an sms header, do you shift the power band higher or lower? i would think shorter secondaries would give better top end at the expense of low end, is my assumption right? i'll be dynoing the engine, but thats still a couple of months away.

I would suggest contacting David himself. He's in the best position to answer questions regarding the design and functionality of his header.
