Hi everyone!
Just joined the site. Looks like I'll be getting a S2000 sometime before X-mas. Already sold one of my cars, and still need to sell my crx. After that I should have enough to get one.
The only thing that I dont like is that I'm 6 1 @ 230lbs, I have plenty headroom, but berally fit my legs with the seat all the way back. Unlike my crx. How can I fix that?
And my freinds are telling me that the S2000 will feel just as torqueless as my b16 crx is that true?

If you're buying a 4 cyl N/A powered car for torque, you're looking in all the wrong places. They don't advertise the S2000 as a torque monster.
If you're a car enthusiast, you'll enjoy the s2000 100%. I'm 6'1" approx. 175-180lbs, and I'm comfy in it. As far as length, I don't see why you wouldn't be.

Well I'm a hardcore honda guy. And I really like the S2000, I would still get one even if it isnt a torque monster. Just wanted to know if it would really notice a big difference in performance compared to my crx.
^^^ You must have low expectations of comfort from any car then...im 6'3 235lbs and wouldnt drive the S2000 daily if you paid me. Leg room sucks, controls are concentrated around you where their hard to access if you have long arms...bar over windshield blocks stop lights 75% of the time, and i have to adjust the seat back further than its probobly supposed to be just to be decently comfortable for a little spirited run in the car...
Nothing against the car...its a blast to drive...but comfort, hahahah, i get in my 325 and i have to move the seats UP to be comfortable, its ergonomical in every way...the S2000 is not in any way.

Well, notice I have never been into luxury cars either. And comfort is all relative to the person that is talking about it, I am used to 1600lb cars with me in them that have 1000lb spring rate springs in rear and 700lbs spring rate springs up front with all aluminum kirkey racing seats (no padding at all) full blown drag cars with full roll cages etc.
In other words, if all I did was cruise around in a Benz I imagine the s2k isn't that good but compared to what I am used to, it is perfect.

They are depending on the size of the person driving...5'8 145lbs and the car fits like a glove but I can see how that someone 5 inches taller and 90lbs girthier would be very uncomfortable in the car.

I'm 5'11" 160lbs, and I'm pretty sure if I were even an inch taller, I'd have some comfort problems. Being 6'1", 230lbs will definately take a toll on you, if this will be your daily driver.

You can't really fix that. There's only so much room.....
I'm 5-11 and can drive comfortably for 3-4 hrs.
S2Ks prefer fuel economy (what little they have) over torque, so don't expect breakneck acceleration off the line. They're simply meant to be lean and agile.

I'm this way too. I dont really care much for luxury. I've had like 5 crx's and all of them were slammed. When I got my first DC Integra It was dropped really low and still felt like a Lexus after my crx's. So the S2000 should be perfect in the luxury department for me.
