hey i got a problem with my 90 integra gs. i had to replace my engine because i threw a rod in the old one. well long story short. it ran perfectly fine before i threw the rod. now though that ive put the new engine it. it idles eradicly (up and down from 2,000 to 3,000) it idles high. (2,000 instead of 1,000) and its air to fuel ratio is way to lean. it barely hits ideal on my air/fuel ratio gauge and thats with my fuel pressure regulator turned all the way up. now the way i threw the rod is by hydrolocking the engine thanks to my intake and 12"s of standing water on a road where i live. ive been told that its a sensor on the intake that was damaged by the water but im confused as to which one. any advise is greatly needed. thanks.

 

vacuum leak? not sure

 

if its a new used motor the idle may need to be adjusted..

 

try replacing the map sensor or the tps ( throttle position sensor)...

 

Yeah, and spend 200 some odd doll hairs for a MAP sensor.
