hey guys. i have an 89 civic hatchback. a few days a ago i go outside and tryed to start it up and nothing happend. i got some friends to come over and we pushed started and boom it fired up. so im guessing that the starter has gone out. its obviously not my alternator because it wouldnt push start if that was out. i just wanted ur imput on if it could be anything else. heres some pics incase anyone asks for any.

um, where's your battery tie down? its dangerous to have that battery bouncing around the engine bay, its also not good for the battery, btw they make a smaller size optima thet would fit better or get a odyssey batt, its super small

 

most likley your starter, try tapping on the side of it while someone holds the key to start
