I'm looking at getting some 15x7 wheels and I'm not sure what size tire i should get(195 or 205) and what tire for daily driving. The car is lowered and has about 2 degress of negative camber. It's a turbo z6 putting down about 200whp, but i have drag radials for the track. I was looking at the Yokohama avid h4s and the dunlop direzza. They both are around 50 dollars a piece. What do you guys recomend? How long do these tires typically last?TIA
Your '93 Del Sol Si came with 185/60-14 tires stock. The best match for 15x7 wheels is 195/50-15. Most 195/50-15 tires are approved for mounting on rims of 5.5-7.0" width, so that size should be okay for your 15x7 rims.
It's hard to tell from your post what kind of tires you're looking for; you mention the Yokohama Avid H4S, which is an all-season tire, and the Dunlop Direzza DZ101, which is a summer tire. Do you plan to use these tires in snow and frigid cold, as well as in warm conditions? If so, you'll want an all-season tire; if not, a summer tire will offer better performance.
If you want a summer tire in this price range, the 195/50-15 size Toyo T1-R is on sale for $60 each at onlinetires.com. That's an awesome deal; it's a significantly better tire than either the Dunlop or the Yokohama H4S (neither of which is available in 195/50-15 anyway). If you're interested in even better performance and are willing to spend a bit more money, the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is a great tire at $83. Other decent tires in your price range are the Kumho Ecsta SPT ($58) and the Yokohama AVS ES100 ($59) but neither is as good as the similarly-priced Toyo. So my primary recommendation would be to get the Toyo T1-R in 195/50-15 for $60.
I really can't estimate how many miles you will get out of these tires, just because you have a high-horsepower application which means it really depends on how hard you drive. But any of these tires should give you decent treadlife; they don't wear super-fast like, for example, the Falken Azenis.

thanks for the replies. I want high performance tires, but I will run them most of the year, so I probably should either get all season or summer tires and buy some all season for my old wheels

Yes, a lot of people (including me) use a separate set of wheels for this purpose.
If you're ONLY going to be using the other set of wheels/tires in the winter, then you might want to consider getting winter tires, rather than just all-season tires. I just posted about winter tires in this other topic.

The Kumho SPT is fast becoming a very popular tire for us because of its performance and price point. They are only $58 each plus shipping. You can see our test results for the tire here:

my wife & I are both using Dunlp Direzzas...205/50/15
hers are on a 15x6.5 wheel
mine are on 15x6 integra special edition wheels
IMO the direzzas so far are better then the yoko ES100s we used to have.
i like the performance better...& the tread life is supposed to be better, so we'll see of thats true.
for the price you can beat direzzas.
