Default Need A New Engine in my 1998 Honda Civic DX...ASAP (SO CALI)

Hey whats up? I have a 1998 Honda Civic DX and just found that it will cost $1400+ to get my exhaust manifold, spark plugs and a tuneup. I am in the Long Beach Area of California. I am looking to get a new engine dropped in. I don't really want to spend any more than $1400 for the engine. I need to get the engine bought and dropped in. I would prefer maybe a 1998 Honda Civic EX VTEC engine with around 30-50K on it. Please help me if you know any place that I may be able to get this done. Include their location and phone number if possible. It would be a great help. Thanks yall

Fellow Civic driver

First off.....why not replace the exhaust manifold with a used one from a junk yard or something. Sparkplugs and tune up you can do yourself for less than $50 in parts.
Unless something more is wrong with the car you're not telling us.

If you insist on a new motor, try these guys: http://www.redstonemotors.com

He won't be able to smog with an LS motor, which I assume he needs to do this stuff to pass.
