'88 Prelude - Check Engine Light flashes as RPM increase
Hello everyone, first time posting here and I need help!
My '88 Prelude has had hesitation problems in the 2800-3400 RPM range since I bought the car about 6 months ago. Beyond that, the car has been nothing but good to me.
Two nights ago, the check engine light began to flicker as the engine revved past 3000 RPM. I promptly stopped taking it above that speed and took 'er home. The next day I checked all fluids, fuses, etc. and everything was in order. Then I decided to give it a test run.
Again, the flickering check engine light started, but at lower engine speeds. It also died twice on me while idling. I then turned it around and headed back home. The car started to lose power, but I made it home.
PLEASE! If anyone can help me, email me at <wspellmann@gmail.com>
Thank you all!
