Default JG Built GSR Head, missing peices...hmmm.....

sup,
i recently bought a fully built JG pro series gen 2 head.....the head came with many metal peices, in order to bolt down the cams etc.....im not the type you can call a mechanic, although what ways can i tell if all the parts are there...im going to get a picture and post it to make sure. my buddy was telling me if there are any missing parts of the head, i will have to ship it to a machine shop so they can make that specific part.....i really dont want to do that after spending 1400 on this head....

If there are missing peices is this true that i will have to ship it to the machine shop so they can design the part? How much does that normally cost? T
Thanks

you dont have to ship it ot the machine shop you would just have to get a new camp cap and get the cam cam line honed maximum cost under 200 bucks

Cam caps are machined to fit each individual head.... that is what the whole world will tell you, even the dealer if you try to buy the caps from them. Check out the buy/sell/trade section, try to buy some used caps, then fit them onto your head and have your machine shop machine them to fit your cams if necessary.

yeah, those are the cam caps; take a picture of the whole head.
So we can identify what parts you have or not have

You should have 3 long caps and 4 smalleer end ones. They should be labeld I1-5 for the intake and E1-5 for the exhaust.
The only thing I see missing is the bolts and the oil jet that goes under the center cam cap.

Make sure the oil jet is in the box. About 4-5mm in diameter and sits inside the hole under the middle cap no#3. An o-ring sits around it as well. If he doesnt have it, you need it before the install. Very cheap dealer item.
