Guys like i mentioned before my d16y8 engine got messed up...is there any other engine i could get without changing my ECU????? Im selloing the car anyway so i dont care what goes in it as long as it runs. Please help or a complete swap that would be cheap??

 

any engine probably could work with the y8 ecu. but the question is how well it would run. just go to the junkyard and ask for another y8. they are cheap

 

get a z6, or another y8, or my suggestion is get a z6 and take the intake mani off the y8.

 

so i could get a z6 and just swap the intake manifold???

 

doesnt the y8 have a knock sensor?

Yeah truthfully i dont car cuz i just wnna get something in it that will run good and for me to sell it.
