First off, Michael, thanks for the hosting the pictures!
Now, for your questions:
clutch and brakes are great, I don't remember the exact mileage the brakes were done [i can look it up later if you want to know] but they grab perfect, never had a problem. The clutch engages great, I can do cleaner/smoother shifts in this sucker, than I can in even my Type SH. Again, I don't remember the exact mileage the clutch was done, but I can look it up if you want to know.
Haven't done a compression test, I'll look into doing that, but the engine pulls great, I haven't had a reason to suspect any loss of compression.
No rust.
The A/C system was removed by the previous owner who felt that the car was 'too heavy.' The car was not track-raced, he was after better fuel mileage and better handling [hence the suspension work]. He was a 40-yr old guy, and a bit eccentric I think, but he was scrupulous about the maintainance. I see no reason why an A/C system from a junked/wrecked Prelude can't be installed. I haven't bothered since my other Prelude [yes, I have 2] has A/C.
Currently, The check engine light is on because the front o2 sensor is responding slow [still working, just responding slow]. I have already ordered a new one, and will have it installed. The car is daily driven to work & back at the moment, all highway, with no problems.

no problem, happy to help..it only took me about two minutes. and whats two minutes in life.
yeah..if you would find out how long ago the clutch was put in, that'd be great. a compression test would be awesome as well.
i'll PM you an offer

I'll look up the records tonight when I get home. As for the compression test, how hard is it to do myself? If not, I can have a mechanic do it.

to be honest i've never done one myself..but from what i understand its very simple. its basically like changing a spark plug, with an extra step or two

Very interested in the car...could I possibly come by sometime this weekend to take a look at/make an offer if everything checks out...also do you have a VIN number so i can run carfax(just want to check that out before i make a trip to see it). Where exactly in NJ are you located...I go to school in Delaware and would be able to easily make a trip this saturday afternoon or sunday. I could bring cash for a deposit and if everything checks out on the car would be ready to buy it within 24-48 hours.
