Sometimes putting the car into first gear is super hard, shifting is getting alot stiffer. If i shift from first to second at high revs it makes some kind of "crunch" noise, almost like the gears are grinding but they aren't. Shifting from first to second and third to fourth always makes a click noise of some sort. I don't hear any loud whirring or whining noise when i am driving. Can anyone offer any opinions?

Does the difficulty to shift go away if you rev the engine a small amount?

 

It has always been a little hard to shift since i bought the car, but for the last month i has just been getting harder and harder to shift now. I'm going to do a oil change on the tranny tomorrow night. Hopefully this will be all it needs.

 

You might want to put some syncro mesh in there when you do your oil change.
