anotha greddy turbo ?
im buying a z6 motor this winter and a greddy turbo kit with this build is 300 hp reachable???
if not im gonna look into sumpin else
block:
eagle rods
wiseco pistons 8.5:1
maybe a aebs sleeve
head:
ferrea vlaves springs retainers
zex 59300 cam
arp studs
cometic head gasket
greddy turbo kit and ic kit
hondata s300
kteller 2.5 dp
aem fpr
walbro 255 in tank pump
3' exhaust from kteller
greddy profec b 11 boost controller
greddy turbo timer
greddy type s BOV
quafie lsd
i figure i could tune to 15 to i dunno 18 or 19 psi
if the turbo will hold it

It's been proven that the Greddy 15G turbo is good to around 250-270whp at 15-16 psi, depending on a lot of variables.
The 19T turbo kit for 96-00 is supposedly good to 300whp @ 17 psi, but no one's hit that mark yet (that I know of).
It MIGHT be possible on the 19T kit, but I'm sure your wastegate will be going NUTS at that boost level!

i know i have heard it maxs out round there. but with the bigger dp and the cam and the im and 3 inch exhaust and wutever else dont u think those variables would come into play??? and im not for sure but isnt there a way to make them externally wastegated???

no, you can have the most efficient motor ever, its the turbo that matters. ifi have a turbo that supports 300whp max, adding a bigger exhaust wont change that number to 301

ok if i have everything bought besides manifold turbo and downpipe does all the kasets come with a turbo if i buy it brand new how will i know if each downpipe will work with my 3inch exhaust? and whats the differences between the manifolds?

here is my dyno:

here is a link to servions website and info on my car.

here is my set up:
z6
stock bore
9.0 je/ealge combo
stock head
19t kit @12psi (absolute)
neptuned by servion
6000ft up
people dont give greddy enough credit.

sorry i was in a hurry the first time i saw this.
there is a way to make a greddy turbo externally gated.
but it would be a pain in the ***. there is not 2 exhaust holes (like on some dsm turbos). to make a greddy 19t externally gated, you would need a flange with a block off plate to seperate the wastegate exhaust from the turbine exhaust.
on my dyno above my guage says 17 psi (buy neptune sees 12psi... probaly because of my altitude). i use a profec spec b version 2 (the complicated one
). i have it dialed in so that it hold 17psi solid.
i plan to push it as far as i can go. only problem i may run into is the turbine gases pushing the weak 5psi spring open before i want it to. (so i had a 12 psi spring made for it

gt28rs
but they are ~$1100 ish for just the turbo.

we will see.
gimme a few more weeks and i bet i can get close.... even at 6000 ft up

The newer greddy kits withthe E-manage has the 19T and WILL support 300 wheel power @17-18psi. The injectors will have to be upgraded to 450s or even better 550s and the fuel pump in the tank needs to be a better one along with a adjsutable fuel pressure regulator, but doing it rigt and yea you can get 300 wheel power out of that.
well i have decided to go with fab-works turbo kit looks like a very good kit and it will be able to easily support my needs so thanks for everything
