Default Header selection

well heres my setup:
B18C1 motor
85.5 mm 3.5 cc pistons
stock stroke
pnp p72 head
twm 50 mm itbs
aftermarkert ems
bc4 cams plus rocket valvetrain and omni flat faced valves
ericks racing header
i believe thats the important parts

my question is, should i purchase a smsp custom multipiece header?
the thing is i don't wanna purchase it if im only going to see an increase of 5 hp
throughout the powerband.
Has anyone whos had an anr/ericks racing type header made the custom smsp upgrade and seen a significant change in ets?

i had a feeling you were gonna say that
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by highend#1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">smsp </TD></TR></TABLE>
i know they're good, but are you saying that switching to the smsp custom multipiece will net me significantly better ets compared with my ericks racing?

Get Dave's then do a comparison. I bet Eric has tried more than 1 header. If all you are ever going to do is follow, them get what the internet guys tell you. To lead you need to try stuff and make your own decision.

Default Re: Header selection (XtraFastCRX)

last time the header was baselined it made 222 whp and 145 lb torque on churches dyno
specs on that motor was

gsr block
crower 403 cams
85 mm je pistons
skunk 2 manifold
type r throttle body
b16 head pnp by ericks racing
mugen programed p28

so it should be enough for 2.0
*im assuming that anr and ericks racing headers are very similar

forgot to mention it was 13.5 cr

I'm sure you could find someone local with one of my pieces and they'd let you try one first.

I recently had a shop go over 240whp with one of my 1 piece B18VTEC headers on a B20VTEC. We'll see shortly what they can make with a custom piece.
