so heres the deal, i bought a 92 civic SI with a d16z6, but the previous owner fucked up the harness when he tried to install his alarm.

not sure what exactly he did that for but anyway.

i was wondering if i can use the harness of my h22, its a obd1 harness.

1. will it plug right up with the civic ecu harness?

2. will it plug into the motor?

3. is this a stupid idea, and should i just buy a new civic harness?

throw me some options here.

the main problem is that the car ran. then shorted out while driving, he had a shop look at it. they said they fixed it. it ran again, and tday it shorted out again. ECU fuse blew.

now it could b something as easy and simple as a ground, but the vtec wire is missing as well, somewhere.

the pressure switch wire is there, but the vtec wire itself is no where to be found.

So i figure might as well get a untouched harness.

a friend of mine has a ZC Auto harness, but iono if the auto harness will work on a manual car.

so let me know what you guys think.

i'd probably buy a new harness. Rather than do all that work and find out that the H22 harness dont work.

 

hmm, yeah but it would b great if it would. does anyone know of a civic harness wire diagram. which tells u all the pins n ****?

and also where on the motor what plug connects too
