Default Disadvantages of running a stock head on 11.5 to 1 compression

As some of you may know I've got my head build up for sale. I'm wanting to put a totally stock head back on my block, swap my 11.5 to 1 pistons out for some 9.5 to 1 JE's and put a greddy kit or the juice back on the car eventually. I don't know how long that will be but will I run into any major problems with stock cams on that compression for the time being. I've got crower stage 2's, tit retainers, dual valvesprings, and ss valves on a ported and polished head that I'm trying to unload to pay for the stock head! Thanks for any non smartass answers!

You will get better mileage, and slightly higher NOx emissions, that's about it.

Ummmm How about keep the head thats has the work done and sell the cams... if your going turbo. If you put the jug back on it keep everything the same. I dont see where your benefit would be from putting a stock head on its only going to slow the car down providing that the headwork was done correctly

Sell your cams and put a 75 shot with the 11.5:1 pistons and the built head

hey... I had type s pistons 11:1 in my h22 with stock head.. and I drove it for 300 miles and I either got me valves bent or something ... I have no clue.. anyways the engine sounds like the valve are are about to fly through the valve cover, it quiets down much when it warms up but its still pretty loud... anyone had the same please give me some info about it.

High lift all motor cams don't always work great with nitrous. That would be his choice. I personally use stock cams with nitrous

True, I'm not looking for all out power anymore, hence why I'm selling everything. The car was more reliable stock by far, duh!

I don't know what I was trying to prove anyways with my lude. Got sidetracked thinking I could build a 12 second full interior type sh or something hehe!

I'm making good deals on all the h22 parts I know that!

I don't have experience with an H22 yet, but I had some pretty knarly high lift cams in my ZC and nitrous woke that motor up like of a bitch.
