Is it fair to pay shipping?
A guy from VA wanna trade 16 inch type R rims with brand new tires for my 15 inch Type R rims. Im from Texas.. So He dont wanna pay another shipping his rims to my homeplace because he already spend. I email him today and say let make a deal. I will pay !$140 for shipping (my rims and his rims) and he will pay $60.. It that fair deal? What ya think?

I would pay a VA resident to receive my wheels, complete the trade in person, then ship me my new wheels.
Surely, you can find someone willing to help you.

His price to ship will be a lot higher than yours because of the new tyres on his rims. You did not mention tyres on your rims, so I am assuming you are shipping yours without tyres.
You're sending your rims plus cash for his rims with tyres, right?
Shipping will cost him a lot more than it will cost you, but this should be figured into the price.
You're trying to conduct commerce. It either makes sense to you or it does not, and I am not sure that the members of Honda Tech have more insight than the two of you already have.

is this a str8 trade or are you paying $ for his wheels also? if its a str8 trade i dont see why you shouldn't spend the $$ to ship his wheels since your already getting the benefit from the deal. Like george said, if you feel uncomfortable with it, ask someone around the area that can go look at the wheels to confirm it or have them ship to you and you can compensate (courtesy) the one helpin you out on the deal.

Whatever you both agree on is fair.

Exactly. No sense in nickel & diming.
Just buy the wheels using a COD status for an additional $12 and keep your 15's. Chances are you'll be able to put them to use in the future as race wheels, etc...

I don't know if anyone has suggested this but this is how I look at it:
You want his wheels? You pay the shipping on his.
He wants your wheels? He pays the shipping on those.
Unless otherwise specified it is a very fair statement to say that the buyer will always pay shipping.
