Who wants a slightly used set of front Cobalt Spec B pads for stock ITR calipers? First come, first served. I'm NOT shipping these though, so you'll have to either come pick them up, or meet me at Summit for the Oct 15,16 event.

I'll take them + pay shipping.
I'm driving up to NY next weekend, so I could pick them up in person if it would otherwise be a problem for you.....

Booker, if you still want those pads, they're yours, Mythias can't meet up with me. Ken, you're next in line after him.
*warning*
These are not good pads for the street in any way, shape or form. They are extremely abusive to brake rotors and wear very quickly when cold - they'll groove up the rotors within a few hundred street miles, so even if its track car dont even drive to the track on them - and if you change them at teh track, use a dedicated set of rotors for them, they dont play well with other pad compounds.
They were a good pad *on* the track though.

LOL... That could be why a lot of people are on Spec VR who don't really drive that fast.

I wasnt talking about Spec VR's.
I dont know what is different about the B pad. I dont really care to know, but its just not street friendly.

What I meant is that some people use the top of the line Spec VR simply because it works better in all temperature ranges and has a lot of torque w/out damaging the rotors too quickly.
The Spec VR are simply newer technology compared to Spec B.

I'd agree with that.
I have a used set that was given to me that I'll try out sometime.

Spec B or Spec VR?
If you mean Spec VR, you might start using it permanently. In addition to being light on the rotors and very good in all temp ranges, the pad compound itself just lasts a long time.

VR. If someone gave me a set of Spec B's i'd launch them into the nearest trash can, after beating whoever gave them to me with a jackhandle.
