Seat help please
wow i just did this install and had the same problem u did. I got a set of black tenzo R seats with no brackets or sliders. I was looking and $200 for a set of sliders to fit in my EF hatch. I had a set of EF hatch seats and DA teg ones also. What i found was the inner rail is pretty much a perfect fit have to make a new hole for rear bolt that mounts to seat but no big deal. This put the seat in perfect position and left a finger gap between door and seat back bolster, even the slider handle was in the perfect place. Now all i had to do was figure out the outer rail, if u measure bolt hole to bolt hole on the seats and compare u will see that the tenzo holes are about a inch wider than the civic/rex ones. I was looking at the teg seats at this point cause i was siiting in a civic seat on the floor thinking and it was right in front of me. I noticed the teg seat uses offset bolt brackets on the sliders and with a little bit of slotting i could make up the inch i needed no problem
. So i ground the rail off the seat and then ground off the bolt brackets on each slider. Then iBolted on the teg offset ones front and rear. slotted the holes a bit with the dremel and prayed. Dropped the seat in and it was a nice fit, little more slotting made it perfect. seat sits right by the console just like stock and the seatback bolster is a finger gap from door pannel. One side note is the will sit nice and low
u have sliders just like stock cause they are
all u have to do is mod the wire that links the 2 sides together a little. Also u will have to use a coule washers betewwn the seat and rail to make sure that wire clears the seat with no probs, and u can raise the seat or angle it more that way too. Sorry for the long reply but i just went through this last month and it saved me $200. Figured i would share my findings in hope of helping someone. Good luck man
