damn...my friends poor mans type r hatch got jacked and he got it back bare...nothing @ all just pray they **** up somehow or just took it for a joyride...

 

did you check and see if it was towed??

 

damn i really hate to see this kinda stuff happen to people but ill be sure to remember to keep an eye out. im in redondo beach and ill do what i can to help. sorry to hear.

 

When you report it stolen, I think when they run it through the system that it would check that. Also, I had no reason to be towed. Good lookin though.

Side note: When I walked to where my car was I had a feeling...then I knew right away. I didn't react how I had pictured, I'd dreamt about it before. I was actually calm, I just accepted it; knowing sooner or later it was bound to happen. But **** man!

Most malls have parking lot security cameras. Check in with the security department. Check also with the surrounding business. Though there cameras are for there individual shops, alot of times they pick stuff up in the parkings lots. Maybe you can actually watch them steal it. Might recognize someone.

Make some phonecalls.

on that note, did someone see a tow truck pull up and take your car by chance?
thieves use tow trucks...

what the hell. thats crazy. i didnt even think about someone using a tow truck as a cover/disguise. geez.

thats how 90% of cars in utah are stolen.
there was a news special on every channel here...
only takes a towtruck driver like 2 minutes to pull up, load up, and drive off...

 

oh well. lesson learned.. im sure.... good luck... eitherway...

 

This was already kind of mentioned, but go into BofA and let them know what happened, and you should be able to view security tapes. Banks will most definitely have cameras in their lots. Best of luck. DAMN THOSE ******* THEIVES!!!!!!!!!

yesterday someone in san jose got their HB stolen, now you, also in cali....

Hatchbacks are disappearing left and right..

 

man i hate reading these.. it makes me paranoid that someone is gonna steal my car

nothing can stop a tow truck i guess...

 

just out of curiousity what alarm? did it have a tilt sensor? whats sensors did it have?

anything else like hood locks? autolock? kill switches?

I felt the same way, I didn't over react or start swearing even though I had the car for only one day after it was out of the shop.

How the hell did they break your auto lock and disable your alarm without people seeing it....... they must of done it within a minute and during the day? damn
