hey im goin b20vtec got a jdm b20a(prelude) block complete (pistons rods crank oil pan ...everything) i have a complete b16a3 swappin the head over and wut all from that engine should i for sure but on the b20...i was gonna put my b16 rods and use some aftermarket pistons and buy some new bearings for the block then some aftermarket cams or ctr ones and a new head gasket...is there anything else i should defiantly buy for it... do u guys think i should do the golden eagle lsvtec kit or get it machined from a friend? uh and with some headers and intake wut do u think this will b puttin down at the wheels and where in the quater mile in a 88 crx hf gutted....do u guys think this will b ( 13.s - 14.s ?)...thanx

 

Shouldn't it be a B20(b/z) out of a CRV and not a prelude??

you don't have enough patience to make this work....that engine b20a is the bastard engine of honda....

no your b16 head will not bolt to that block

 

nor will your motor mount brackets

You also do not want that engine due to its HORRIBLE rod to stroke ratio with the 95mm crank it has.
