i have a set of tokico illuminas. they are the ones where the strut and spring are in one assembly. Someone told me that i can change my ride quality to either stiff or more of a stock ride! How do i change it, THANKS

I have the illumina shocks and mine have a little red dial on the top of the shock with a 1-5 on them, one being soft 5 being stiff. You use a little screwdriver to adjust them just turn

how does it work does the 5 need to face the front, rear or side of the car for it to be stiffest? i dont understand where it should point it doesnt have a hash mark! also how do i adjust it... my finger strength wont work

 

the **** should have an arrow made of white paint... point it to higher for stiffer.

You turn the little peg inside the numbered circle, not the numbered circle itself.

 

if you still dont understand from what everyone has been telling you, then set all of them to one direction, go drive down the street, then change it to a different setting, go for a drive, etc...and dial it in until its set to the ride quality desired...
