I bought a set of koni shocks from a H-T sponsor not too long ago. And I suspect that he sold me shocks for a different model. Let me know what you think...

When I took off my rear shock, I discovered that the bottom 'claw' which bolts to the LCA bushing is a different size to the konis which I just bought. The konis had an inner diameter of 5cm, while my shocks had an inner diameter of 4cm. I took a couple pics, but I don't know how to post them up?

So can someone tell me whether I got the wrong rear shocks?

I can hardly believe that koni would make (rear) shocks which did not fit flush with the LCA bushing. The only solution would be for me to either: (1) make a diy spacer, or (2) buy a 5cm LCA bushing (I would prefer to do this).

 

Which model are you talking about? Do you have an EK or EG Civic? I have a set of Konis for the EK in my garage. I can measure it out tomorrow.

 

Go look on Knoi's website and reference the product # of the ones you have vs the ones that they say are correct.

Just talk to the vendor. Most of the vendors on here are great when it comes to helping you out. I am sure they will fix it for you, accidents happen.
