Default Transaxle/drive axles help!! 00' honda civic EX with a 01' tranny EX

So all day today and part of last night i've been trying to get my driver side trans/drive axle off, i got it removed from the tranny and now its stuck in the hub...it kinda seems like its rusted in there, and im gonna replace the whole thing with a new one, cause my tranny is a 01' and my engine is a 00' and so is my car....so the transaxle on the end that goes in the tranny has to be a bit bigger to fit in there right, and has to be the same size at the hub end....so i gotta get new transaxles for both sides, driver and passenger...problem is that the driver side and that side only seems rusted and stuck, ive tried beating it out, and doing it like you would get a ball joint out....I've put pb blaster on it, and im out of thoughts, ive done everything i can think of....help me out here....this is the only thing keeping my car from runnin, everything works but that...

You cannot use an 01 transmission on an 00 Motor because the motors rotate a different direction; as much as it fits and bolts up.

I also got it all in the night before last and drove it 3 miles to my house then my transaxles popped out...and when i was just sittin there still the car was in first saying it was goin 18 to 20 mph when i wasnt moving, so i've driven on that 01' tranny in my 00 civic, so its gotta rotate in the same direction otherwise it woulda never moved, from what the tranny shop and advance says all i need is 01' transaxles, so now i just gotta get my stock ones out and take them in as a core to advance to get some new ones....but its rusted stuck or something and wont come out to save my damn life....its sucks...
