my friend has a spoon hood and i'm not impressed with it. Your paying $900-$1200 for a hood that can't even take speeds upwards of 80mph. I watched this hood flex shake and just bend over that speed. The main point of downforce is put on the hood right. Well if i was to put a flimsy piece of carbonfiber now my aerodynamics are screwed. I would want my car to create more downforce and still keep great aerodynamics. solution... Benen industries Carbon Fiber/Kevlar hood. Carbon Kevlar is hard stirdy and well works. not only does it look awesome it actually does its job and keeps the aerodynamics the way they are supposed to be upwards of 150mph. Oh and its only $200-$500 CHEAPER! the only spoon item i would get is the wheels. and those are over priced too IMO.

I was convinced by actually seeing this with my own eyes. the benen hood i do not have, but i've spoken to the R&D man Ken and this is the conclusion i have come up with in the past few weeks. this is all my opinion using conclusions for research i've done on this madder.
