Default swap problems

Ok, so my friend has a 00 hatch (dx). We converted it from an auto to 5sp and are having some problems. He used a 95 ex tranny with all the parts on the tranny. Basically when u hit about 4 grand the revlimiter kicks in, we thought the ecu might have been the problem so he ordered one for a 00 ex 5sp. The rev limiter is still kickin in and for some reason after runnin about 80 on the interstate the car just boggs and u have to stop it turn it off and then go again. Anyone got any suggestions? We are wanting to take it to Atl for the show this wkend and need some quick help. Thanks

i know it was spittin out three. Two were in the 1500s and the other was an oxygen sensor, i'll have to recheck the codes again to get the right numbers.

ok so we got the three codes cleared. but know a 1780 is showin up which refers to the torque convertor. the car runs fine but the damn rev limiter is still kickin in, so we need to figure out how to fix the cel for the convertor.
