Default help w/ this bolt

Since I don't have air tools I think I am screwed.

I have to take of the timing belt cover. There is a pulley that I have to take off first to get to the timing belt cover bolts. The pulley is like 7 inches wide. It has a 17mm nut that you gotta bust.

This is right under the driverside tire area. Not much room in there in the first place to use my rachet. No room at all for a breaker bar.

Anybody have any suggestions?

If you have never taken this bolt off it may be difficult..

you can get a tool from honda..

take it to a shop and have them take it off and put it back on just to crack it for you..

or find a friend with air tools..

if you dont even know what the pulley is dont you think you should find that out? by the way it is your crank pulley! snap on makes a crank pulley remover that you dont need a impact for even though that is the fastest way

like he said just take it to a shop and tell them to take off the bolt and put it back loosly and drive it straight home.... when home take it off with a 17mm socket and just pull the pulley off.... dont lose the key either!!!! when you are done tinkering around and have it running right take it back to the same shope and have them tighten it with the impact gun......

I put my crank pulley back on with a rachet and one day the pulley passed me going down the road after hearing a loud clanking noise..... yea it was the pully comming off and then hit the road still spinning!!!! NO BULL S@*T!!!! that cost me an extra $25 for another pulley from a junk yard.....
