Default Momo Steering Wheel

Hi, I know this is for S2000, but it's similar.

I wonder after I remove the SRS unit (show in pic), there is a wire connected to this SRS unit and that wire is connected to another yellow SRS connector under the steering column. How do I remove that wire? I tried to remove the wire from the SRS unit, but it seems like only the Horn wire can be unpluged, not the SRS wire. Do you cut the SRS wire?

I hope you understand my question. It's hard to explain.

Anyone, I did search but nothing gets to that specific.... and the helm doesn't say if that cable is removable. I just want to avoid breaking something.

thanks

That yellow plug hanging there goes to the other yellow plug under the steering column. Just unplug the one under the steering column and it will come out. You will have to wiggle it around since it's wedged up in there pretty good. No need to cut.

I cut my horn plug off so I could use the MOMO horn button though.

Oh you also have to remove the whole SRS unit. It's held in with those two phillips screws.

Trey,

I couldn't find a detail instruction on getting the momo horn to work. There is one on the net but it's not clear and I read it again and again but still couldn't understand it. Call me stupid.

Can you give me some instructions on make the horn to work?

thanks

Here's my suggestion, try to use a test light to locate the horn wire and then cut a piece of wire and attach it to the shoe horn. You can order a shoe horn from Honda. Make sure the shoe horn attaches to underneath the hub and the horn will work.
