Hi, My mom just bought me a used 2 door Honda Civic. I've been driving to school normally for the past week. So today I was rushing to school and gassed all the way, all of the sudden it's getting louder and the engine sounds different. So I pulled over and called triple A for assitance but they did not help much. After triple A left I slowly drove back home, told my mom what happend and she's going to ask the last owner tomorrow. What do you guys think is the problem? Or what caused this problem?

You need to be more specific. Maybe your air filter fell off and you are hitting mad vtec more often, who knows?

That could be a bunch of things. If the speed sensor plug isn't on the tranny this will happen, but you won't be able to go anywhere eventually. If your headgasket is blown this can happen too. I would get it checked out if its still happening.

 

I have a turbo charger? If thats true my mom must gotten a good deal out of it.

 

By the way, Whats *hitting mad vtech* isn't that just a trim for the car?

Thanks everyone I'm glad that my mom found me a very nice looking car. I just love the way the last owner did to it. It's just like in the movie "The Fast and the Furious". also i love the paint job! It's looks like it's so fast it burns off the paint

i remembered i had my Transmisson changed to automatic. so tomorrow. I'll ask the mechanic if that is the problem.

When you were rushing to school I am sure what happened was that your vtec kicked in, I am sure that your car felt faster, I will assume some where around 5500 rpm. I don't think I have seen so few posts make so many new sigs, that's some FUNNY SHITTT!!!!!!!
