Im hoping to do some custom paint within the next year and figured that while it would be apart i could make some mods to the suspension. For the swingarm i would like to upgrade it to a beefier unit, like the ones off the 05 600s, but i was curious about which ones fit and what kind of mods need to be made. I would also like to swap the front forks for a set of inverted ones but like the swingarm i want to know which ones fit/perform the best and what must be done to swap them.

I was also curious about painting the frame, currently my frame is the stock aluminum looking one, but i would like to change it to black, but exactly how difficult is it and how much would i have to take it apart to get it done right? TIA

 

bump, i too would like to know the compatability of the 00-03 and 04-05 gixxers. I want to swap forks/ subframe and rearbodywork mounts to use 04 rear plastic who knows what can be done?
