Thats sick. I had a black 7thgen that I sold a few months ago. If I could have come up with the money to do that swap I would have in a heart beat. And did the type R guages fit easily?

The guages did not fit immediately. The shop that did the swap had to modify the plastic surrounds and repint it to fit the guage cluster.

Omg!!! Perfect sleeper. Looks good

I don't know if I am just tired but does the motor look cocked a little? Or is it just me?

Anyways, props to you.

I don't know, DC5-R wheels, DC5-R Brembo's, and 5 lugging it. That's not exactly what I call a sleeper.

Ok, it's a sleeper, NO HASPORT MOUNTS! I love you man! You're the only other person I've ever seen to do that!!! BIG from me!

Looks excellent!

Love your tires! Why not DC5-R Recaro's??

So a shop did your swap... if you don't mind, how much did that run you for the actual swap and then the tuning (if any was done)?

Inside the Torn - A Shop did the swap - the parts and labor and tuning cost around $8500...done in the Philippines. Came with Engine, DC5 Wheels with Advan Neovas, DC5 suspension, DC5 Steering Wheel, DC5 Shift ****, DC2 seats, DC5 exhaust, Hondata K-Pro and 2 hours on the dyno for tuning.

k20whitevic - Yup...we had the front end of the DC5, and it has a metal mount that was spot welded on it form the factory...we took it off and spot welded it in the ES body. The entire frame below where the engine sits, is completely form the DC5 and bolted right into the ES body. The DC5 recaros was not there anymore in the shop...I think they sold it. I was given a discount on the parts becuase it did not have the seats...got the discount and asked from Type R seats from DC2.

Very good. Like I said, you're the only other person, besides myself that I've ever seen not using Hasport or Hybrid Racing mounts. The battery location, radiator, overflow.. they're perfect! I'm glad your shop didn't overlook those details, making it look so much better, and that it actually belongs there! Once again, BIG from me!

Nice, so you really got the whole kit-n-kabootle for 8,500 total. Sounds like you even got a deal with all the extras thrown in.

One more

Agreed. If they would fit, if get those Disk Brake simulators, paint them flat black to hide the brembos.
