civic trans rebuild help
looking to rebuild the auto trans in my sons 1995 civic and its been a while since I did one, last one I did was a switch pitch turbo 400 in my 72 GS 455 I did 20 years ago which I assume is a little more involved than the honda's.
how are these honda trannies to get out of the car and rebuild in terms of time and cost?
thanks
steve

</TD></TR></TABLE>It really depends on where the problem is or what your rebuild goals are. I would think rebuilding a Honda auto trans would be a little more difficult than an old 455 trans, but then again I've never rebuilt one so who knows. Get a factory service manual from Honda before you embark on it though..
