D1S Hid Bulbs into EJ Headlights? Ever see it?

D1S Hid Bulbs into EJ Headlights? Ever see it?
i got a set of hids and its the d1s bulb style. i looked at it and i dont see how i can make them work with my 95 ex headlights. Im curious if anyone has ever done this or knows how to do it.

You would need to rebase it but from the looks of it the igniter is in your way...you still have the projectors they came out of?

I had a D2S/R w/ an H4 base w/ my stock headlgihts before. Even w/ a glare guard or casper shield it's glare galore..NOT worth it.

wellits up to you...ppl on h-t dont like hid on stock housings..i learned from posting pics..got flamed like a ****. its ur choice, doing the retrofit takes time and alot of effort! and need to be done correctly, like by professionals, but ppl have done it themselves....gl!! I have 5600K McCulloch hids on my EJ8, and they are BEAUTIFUL! nicer than d2s....

Retro fitting is VERY easy...HIDs in stock civic lamps is just a waste of good light. Friend of mine wouldn't let me convince him to install some Audi projectors in his lamps...he drove on his HID/stock lamps for awhile and then encouraged me to do the install. If you wan't PROPER lighting and NON-rice hids then do a retro-fit. If you're too scared to try it on your own, Ill do them for you. You'd pay me first so I can buy spare lamps and projectors (or you can source them) and just pay shipping...gosh Im a nice guy?!
