I have a ZC my honda ppl its im my 92 hatch.
ALL my honda ppl say get it out of there and put 22 in it
im going to put 2200 in it why dont i do it to the ZC....... so
when the tuners pull up and say what do u got Im going to say ZC
and smoke the S(*() out of them ppl LET me know what i can or can not do
i come to my honda dogs for info................. PS they tell me not to turbo..... is that right

Im trying to make it faster and is it good to turbo it
SOme ppl say yes some say no......... my first civic

 

lets see here....

ZC = 1.6L = 130hp
H22a = 2.2L = 190hp = 46% more power than a ZC

 

ok my input. You can do anything you want to do, but you need to research a lot and gain experience.

The reason the [d16]zc dual cam is not a good engine is the fact that it doesnt have as many after market parts available for it like the standard d series and b series. thats its major problem.

but ill keep the ZC and spend what ever and do what ever to prove

crack kills and zc motors suck....

 

Get an LS motor (relativly inexpensive)
and boost THAT!

why are you hating on H-T? you asked a question and got an honest answer. if you cant deal with it than you need to go away.

 

Way back in the day when ZCs were popular there used to be alot of companies that offered performance parts for the ZC series, so you best bet would be to start searching for those shops.

see sig...i understand why people hate on hte zc, but i can boost it and blow it every summer and replace it for next to nothing.Cant do that with a b series....in a little under a month,ill have around 220whp with a zc and a weak *** greddy kit.. and thats just the begining.

 

zcs r still cool in my book.

but go back to school man.

im happy with my zcasauraus, do what u want but ffs do some research and research starts with reading not posting.
