Why would you want to convert a gsr into a ls?

you need a harness and a ECU... if you drop a LS with a GSR ECU the car will run like crap and you'll never get rid of all the codes it will throw...

sorry i am so hard headed.. i understand that i need the ecu.. just wondering if i could do without the harness.. ecu=fairly simple.. harness=very difficult.. i think it would run fine with just an ls ecu and the gsr harness.. just throw a few codes.. i can live with codes as long as it runs fine with an ls ecu.. please help thanks.

sell the gsr buy ls. no gsr motor in gsr = gsr insurance payment even with the ls motor. it would be very stupid to do your original plan

everyone said no soo it is a no you should read what people have to say they know what they are doing. you will not be able to run the engine right with GS-r harness if at all. .... soo no you can not!!!!! unless you wanna work on a harness. good thing to do go to a junk yard get a ls parts car if you can find it but your just being stupid on swaping the engines and you are going to loose money on this if your thinking your going to save a few bucks.
