yellow headlights
yea i'm sure this has been covered so don't tell me..i just got my jdm front end on my 91 hatchback but the headlights are yellow...what is the best way to get these lights back to clear?? thanks
If they are painted try some paint thinner.
If you took the lens off and its glass you might be able to use some Acetone.
BUT...dont get the Acetone on any plastic parts.-it will basically melt it.

JDM front end u say? If so, they arent glass, they are plastic. Thats why they turn yellow, its because of the oxidation. Usually a wet sand with 1000, 1500, or even 2000 grit sandpaper will clean them right up, along with a wax and buff. The real fix would be to have them re-clear coated by a body shop.
