What will poly bushings to for me?
My car handles well, but is not "tossable." Of course it's relatively heavy and will never change directions like a Civic, Teg, or Me-otter. My 10-year-old bushings are shot. I have Bilstein sport shocks and 350F/400R Eibach ERSs. I'm hoping poly bushings will make a world of difference on the transients. Will they?

Well, I just installed a set on the Caprice and it made a world of difference (along with the new ball joints and tie rods). The steering feels crisper.
Other things you might look into:
Swaybars - greatly effect the transitional handling of a car.
Steering rack and pump - is a faster rack available that bolts in? Or a pump that gives less assist?
Wheel offset - is it far different than stock?
But, as you said, in general, a 3000lb sedan will never be as tossable as a 2000lb sports car.
