1. Whenever I push on my brake to slow down, I notice a clickin type of noise coming from the rear end of the car, and its only 1 click when i hit the brake...and if i pump the brake mutipable times... it goes click click click with the brake and was wondering if anyone knew what this is ?

2. It takes a while to start my car up and its a 91 and wondering if it is jsut cuz its old...or could it be the battery goin bad. ?? Like if it sits for a while , when i come to start it , it cranks over and takes a lil while ?? IM WORRIED !!

Thanks guys,
You always help me and i hope u can now !!

0. You should title your posts better. Just something like "I need help" doesn't attract too much attention, only bored people like me.

1. How fast is the clicking? Does it change with your speed? (i.e.: is it faster when you're going faster?) Does it do it all the time? During turns?

2. How does the cranking sound? Does it seem slow and labored? Sometimes a dying/old battery will make the car start slow. It will crank slow and that's why it takes a while. The starter isn't getting enough power to get a powerful crank. How old is your battery? When you're cranking it, do your headlights dim a significant amount? Check the voltage on your battery. Also check your cap/rotor/plugs/wires. When was the last time you did those?

It could be a semi-seized caliper in the rear, it's worth taking it to someone and having them inspect the brakes at the very least.

Also make sure no lights or accessories are left on when you turn the car off.

1. the clicking noise is jsut when i press on the brake and brake only...it doesnt make a faster or slower noise or speed...jsut clicks when i tap on the brakes NOTHING ELSE... lol

2. its a slow rate or crankin...im not sure how old the battery is ...Im at school and my auto-tech teacher said i can used his battery tester to see if thats the case... I do in fact have a 400 watt sub / amp in the car...Would that make a difference in the uses of the battery ?

thanks guys for all the help

1. I'd just check them out you might have a anti-rattle clip bent a little that hitting or a small pebble or something stuck.

2.Definetly check you battery, its not hard and will for sure cause the problem you said. As long as you system is hooked up right it shouldn't cause a drain on the system. However if you realy blast it all the time it will do a number on you alt.
