Default b16a knocking hmo

ok well i just installed a b16a into my crx only 900 miles ago. i ordered the motor from hmo, and i did all the proper initial start up things. i am babying this motor cuz i owe my dad like 1800. ok well the ohter day in my high school autos class i was looking for an exhaust leak. well the teacher and another fellow senior were under the car and i was in it holding the idle at like 2500 were i seemed to hear the leak the most. so then he said he hurd a rod knock. i was liek this is total bs. so then like its been a week and ive never even hit vtec cuz im scarred to break it.well like now i have like 990 miles on it and we checked it with a stethoscope. this time i could hear it it was like a verry quite scratching sound in cyl one. this sux u kno. well if i change my oil could it cover up the bad bearing and may b help. can i still track the car and boost on it i eventually am putting a turbo on this car so is the motor junk 4 a turbo now. idk post up what u think i should do.

Better take it apart if you are sure about it. Save it before more damage is done.

Check oil for metal shavings.

Luckily B16A blocks are a dime a dozen. Almost. Just hope that your head is ok
