timing belt broke, but tried to start the car, engine okae?
my friend's timing belt broke while going 40mph. He thought it was something else, so he cranked the engine a bunch of times. Do you guys think that damaged the engine at all? Its a h23a btw. thanks
it should be ok but most likely you would have to change the plugs there probably soak in fuel other than that i dont think ill do any damage to your motor
like stated most likely it will be ok, but there could be some damage. after you get a new one on try doing a leakdown test to see if everything is ok.
when we initially started my car a nut fell into the timing cover and got caught in the belt and shredded it , luckily no damage though
