is there a relay for my fuel pump that I should check before I replace the pump? if so, where the hell is it?

 

its called a main relay, just search main relay under the ef forums you will find boocooo's of info

but to help some, its located to the left of the fuse box kinda up in the corner where your feet go on that side wall

 

your fuel relay is behind the hood release latch
