Default storing car

well boys its time to store the car away for a good while. will be attending school at wyotech for a year, anyways any body have any good suggestions on ways to help prevent car from gettin messed up while sittin

unplug the battery and put a cover incase it gets cold

yeah will be in garage and under a cover and of course im gonna take the battery ouy, what about moisture and bugs..

yea make sure to put one of those humidity things like you find in shoe boxes. Make sure your car isnt sitting on the tires because ur gonna have flat spots. I garanty it, if u dont jack it up, u'll have to get new tires....so just jack it up on bricks or something. Remove that battery, give it a good wash in and out and put it away.

Not tried to store a Honda, but when I go to storing an American car, depending on how long I plan to store it, I'll either add stabil or drain the tank and fuel lines. I usually pickel the motor, too (fill it up with oil). Like I said, haven't tried it on a Honda, but on the American cars, it keeps the gas from ruining all the seals and the motor from locking up.
