What's wrong with my stereo?
Hey guys I have a 96 Honda Civic 2DR EX and I think I have what you call a "short" in my stereo or something. (I have a stock radio) The thing is, sometimes the music plays on both sides of the car but most of the time it just plays on the right. I'm pretty sure that the left side speakers aren't blown because the music sometimes does cut on the left, but I'm not sure. Also a lot of times, there is a static sound that comes from my left side speakers when I first turn on my stereo. (whether it's radio or tape) Any thoughts? Please help!
Does it cut out on both of the speakers on the left side? If so it's most likely just a loose connection behind the headunit. Pull it out and just make sure everything is plugged in all the way.

Cuts out on both of the left side speakers. I'll try to check the headunit, but can anybody hook me up with some really simple direction on how to pull the headunit out to do this?
