Test pipe & O2 sensors..
I'm planning on buying a test pipe from here for my '01 OBDII GS.. http://www.kteller.com/store/p...d/211
They have the option for (2) O2 sensor bungs, but from what i've read, i'll still need an O2 simulator correct? I'm kinda confused on all the stuff regarding a test pipe and what needs to be done if you get one.

not sure if this'll answer your question, but i'm running a test pipe on my obd1 gsr.... i had one o2 bung on my test pipe, plugged in my o2 sensor in that bung, and worked perfectly fine.... no codes or anything. I think you would only want a simulator if you didnt want to plug in your o2 sensor.... not sure how it is with obd 2
The purpose for the 2nd o2 sensor is for the computer to see if the cat is doing its job. It has no other purpose except to check for emissions. All OBD2 cars have them. I know that all over the Ford sites you can find places to purchase MIL eliminators. I'm not positive how it works but I think it has a capacitor in it that you wire in to the O2 sensor wiring. It tricks the computer by sending it a different voltage than the first o2 sensor (upstream of cat). If the 2 sensors send back the same signal then the ecu knows that the cat is gone and it may put the car into a limp mode or closed loop (at least thats what it does to fords)
I know that you can purchase the parts at radio shack to make one of these MIL eliminators for something like $7
Hope that helps a little bit

so with high flow cat with o2bung will not throw any codes?
also if i use test pipe, tell me more about how to- the cheap way.

this setup works perfectly fine...i would recommend this way with obd2. the cheapest way? well if you have your stock exhaust piping...what you can do is buy a highflo cat like the guy above then got to a shop to straight pipe your resignator (pretty much for noise control) and pickup any after market muff.
i just save money buy bending my on piping (non mandrel with aluminized piping 2.25) if sum1 decided to get full piping at my shop...itd probably run bout...$100

another thing you could do which was what i did was do a obd1 conversion. all you need is a obd1 vtec ecu a conversion harness and your set. any questions or porblems let me kno. i also have a test pipe on my car. obd1 is much better!

About how much would all of that cost and where can you get it from?

well your saying that the ECU will throw a CEL if the Primary and secondary O2 sensors are showing the same voltage? so how about u make a voltage divider with resistors on the secodnary O2 sensor wire by the ecu so it tricks the ecu into seeing a different voltage. (which O2 sensor usually sees a higher voltage? the PO2 or the SO2? which ever one sees the lesser of the voltage put the voltage divider on that wire.)
