whenever the clutch is pushed down i hear a noise. the car is off by the way. but whenever i hear this noise the clutch also has this one spot where i feel kinda like a pop in the pedle. any ideas what this could be?

I had the same problem and when I got it checked out, it ended up being my pressure plate. I would push down on the pedal and hear a cricket noise and the same when I would release it. It even sounded like the noice came from the pedal, as if something just needed lubing. Unfortunately, it ended up being my pressure plate.
