Default Tune up Help!

I have had my car now for a couple of months and I am going to be doing a "tune up" on it here shortly just to get everything is good running order. I have a '98 hatchback with a GSR engine swap in it. I run only sythetic fluids in it right now and am thinking of going to amsoil fluids. I did a search and did not find much as to tune ups and what is all needed. I want to do a good job with it so I was curious as to what should be done. The engine has between 80,000 to 83,000 miles on it. Completely stock engine, but im going to be doing an intake on it soon also. What do you guys think would be good for a tune up?

Thanks,
Matt

i would say spark plugs, clean out the cap and rotor (make sure electric ends are clean) flush and change the coolant, tranny fluid. sounds like you already do oil.

you can also clean the TB with carb cleaner. If you have the valve cover breather connected to your intake, it will be dirty.

change fuel filter (if its old)

inspect air filter.

Thanks for the info, I am for sure going to do the plugs and plug wires. I will look at the cap and see if it needs cleaning or I might just get a new unit. Using the carb cleaner is ok on the TB? I will look it over too and see how its doing. I will also get the cooling system flushed. And im looking at new tranny fluid from amsoil too.

Anyone else got any more info on what would be good that im not thinking about doing?
