i have a coupple questions
first i was wondering if a h22a1 head would fit on a f22a1 block
i looked it up and there the same displacment 2156cc
another thing is my accord lx 93 f22a1 GETS REALLY HOT
when idlleing within a matter of minutes the temputure guage is at the top.
and when we start moving it goes down really fast.
any ideas i really aperciate it.

the head will "fit"...but some extensive modifications need to be done in terms of oil and coolant holes in the block and head
when was teh last time your coolant was flushed?

i don't think it ever has.
i'll check later.
would that have to be custom made is that reallyuexpensive to cool the h22a head on the f22a1 block?

its very expensive...and ive only seen it done like two or three times...people do it because the F block responds to boost MUCH better than the H block...so they use it for motors they plan on boosting

Make sure your fans are turning!!! Since you said idle I'm assuming its not a problem until you stop, which means your thermostat is working. Could be a bad relay or blown fuse (big 20 Amp or so under the hood).
You also have to make custom piping for the water pump, change gears and tensioner, and a whole bunch of messy crap. There's a hella long write up somewhere like 40 pages, I forgot who did it. Oh and then he realized he didn't have enough room for the turbo and cut a hole in the hood I believe.
