Default Old Prelude Engine Price?

Im looking for a price on a B20A Prelude Engine. It has about 180,000 miles on it and everything is running good. Just wanted to see how much this baby's worth.

if that..at 180,000 miles, it's almost due for a tune up, timing belt, water pump, and many other things..

I wouldn't pay more than $50. Out of all of the engines, pretty much the worst as far as rings and burning oil. You can get an almost new f-series motor for like $200. Look around more, or get an h22 swap.

Get an H23A thats what I have in mine... Total was about 2k... not too bad figuring it was imported from Japan *JDM* with 35k miles on it... =/. haha. Fast as hell too. stock at the flywheel is around 180.

If that isn't an H23A VTEC then you're a ******* moron. H23A non-VTEC has 160 flywheel hp and way less wheel hp.

The b20 isnt the motor that is notorious for bad rings and oil burning, thats the b21.

ugh... i hope you idiots recommending engines such as the h22 realize its going to be expensive to adapt it into a 3rd gen... Why dont you reccommend something realistic or be realistic about price and work... Yes, I do have a 3rd gen with an h22... So, it can be done and it has been done... But, it started off with him asking a worth price... $150 is about right if the motor is running... Most b20's cost about $600 , but the mileage is abuot 60k... Also, its unlikely anyone would be fond of buying a motor with such mileage on it.....

Don't B16s drop in pretty easily into 3rd gens? Might want to consider that route...
