Picking up some JDM Headlights, how do I install them on my MY04?

Picking up some JDM Headlights, how do I install them on my MY04?
Basically I am swapping my MY04 headlights for a pair of JDM headlights (authentic, not USDM w/cleared diffusors). Anybody know how to install these on to my car and do I need anything else to install them, such as ballasts?
I honestly do not know too much about headlights for my car, just your basic knowledge. Any info would be great

The ballasts on the 04+ models are smaller than the previous. It will not screw into the bottom of the headlight.

Yeah, I thought I read that somewhere, but I heard that I could just tape the ballasts on there or something along those lines. Some members of S2ki have done this. Anything else I should know?

Well you could... but the top of the ballasts actually fit into the bottom of the projector, with a rubber seal. If you decide to do it that way, make sure the seal at least fits snugly. You wouldn't want your nice projectors to leak.

I'm confused. I thought AP2 headlights were the same USDM and JDM and the AP1 headlights were USDM/amber, JDM/clear. Is he wanting JDM AP1 headlights on his AP2? Enlighten me...

But once you take out the headlights then you need to know how to align the headlights so that your lights aimed at a particular height off the ground and not to the left or right but straight. It's really simple to do though.
